Placement Count : Made history!!! (300+ and still counting)

Hello friends,

We are so much more excited and glad to announce the most anticipated news coming straight away from the Training & Placement Cell of having accomplished a record breaking number of total students getting placed from our college this year.

This year the total number of eligible students were 415 and out of which 301, as of this day are placed in 35 different National and Multi- National companies. So our placement comes out 72.5% as of the 2016 batch.

A heartfelt congratulations to all those associated directly or indirectly to make this number of placement; and particularly to the faculty members and students for their endeavor.

A visit to Kasor Substation

There was visit organized to Kasor 400KV substation which comes under GETCO (Gujarat energy transmission and corporation) by IE(I) Student’s Chapter of electrical department on 19/03/2016. This was very interesting and knowledgeable visit done by third year students(Batch 2013-17).  Faculty Members A. M. Patel sir and M. N. Sinha sir came with us to provide guidance about substation. The engineers at substations had given various information about, from where power comes and how it is distributed to various areas, various equipments like circuit breakers, reactors, insulators, transmission & communication line, control panels some importance about jyoti gram yojna.
