Hi BVMites,

Nice to know that you have been placed in India’s Most Valuable Company and One of the most respectable Industrial Institutions of the world.

Also treat this mail as my congratulatory message to all those Electrical students placed, circulate if possible.

Also , there is still a lot in store for those still unplaced!Let me tell you that Working for an Indian Company is always better than working for a Foreign Multinational Company.This statement might not convince you at the moment, but time will certainly tell and you shall realize the same.

However, I would like to say something from my short and limited experience and knowledge.

1. Never forget from where you have come.
2. Always remember, whatever you are today is because of your alma-mater.
3. Your success is not your alone, share it, as there are a lot of factors which have helped you in the trajectory of success.
4. Ever stay humble and down to earth, even at the peak!
5. Use your communication skills effectively for catalyzing success.

*Note:
Last year the criteria was 7.0 CPI and above. This year fortunately they are convinced for 6.5 till now. 
Last minute changes are acceptable from the company. Students with CPI less than 7 are marked blue in the image. All the 51 are allowed for now. You need to come on the day of recruitment.

SHV recruitment process

We are glad to inform you all that Super Gas (A subsidiary of SHV Energy) is visiting our campus for recruitment on November 11,2013.

Eligibility Criteria : 60 % or more in 10th, 12th, all semesters of B.E. & in D2D (if any). No backlogs(live or dead) are allowed. Approximate Package : 2.4 LPA (Not confirmed, may be higher than that)

Electrical students are allowed to appear in Super Gas as of now, but under any circumstances if company would not allow Electrical Students to appear in recruitment, then it would not be our responsibility. Though we will try our best for Electrical Students to be considered in placement. Please co-operate us in that situation.

**Students, who are having one or two dead backlogs or having spi slightly less than the criteria in any semester may remain present on their own wish, company may allow them, if they are convinced. Once again, if company allows you, you will be eligible but that will not be our responsibility.
