ABB Schedule

Greetings..

                                                        

News is that ABB has finalized the dates with us.
We had sent the data of eligible students (6.5+ throughout) to them and same way as every year, they have sort listed students from that data.
Only the following students are eligible for the recruitment process:

Schedule will be as follows:

Date for pre-placement talk : 5th October
Reporting Time: 8 a.m.
Venue: ABB limited, maneja,  Vadodara 
(Students to carry their college ID cards in order to be permitted inside ABB campus )

Date for Online Test : 6th October
Reporting Time: 8 a.m
Venue for Online test : T&P Cell BVM

Date for interviews of short listed students: 7th October 2013
Time 8 am
Venue:ABB limited, maneja, Vadodara.

Note:
1. Everyone has to be in formals during entire process
2. Shoes are compulsory (for both boys and girls)
3. Students coming to ABB premises on two-wheeler vehicles have to wear helmets in order to be permitted inside

IMPORTANT FOR L&T ECC

Dear Friends,

Schedule for tomorrow is as mentioned below.

08:00 AM : Pre-Placement Talk ,     Venue : BVM Auditorium.
09:30 AM : Written Test (Online),   Venue : 2nd Floor, B Block.

COMPULSORY :

1.Be in complete formal attire.
2.Must bring your printed & attested application form.
3.Must bring attested Hall Ticket.
4.Must bring Photo-ID proof.


About Written Test : 

Written test will be for 60 minutes , will contain two combined parts :

 1. 20 questions of verbal. (one mark each)
 2. 30 questions of Aptitude. (Mainly Logical Reasoning) (two marks each)

No negative Markings.
Non programmable calculators are allowed in written test. 
(Test pattern is subjected to the last minute changes.)

Form of L&T ECC

Compulsory:
All the 20 students who are going to appear for L&T ECC have to come to T&P Cell at 11 a.m. tomorrow (24th Sept) with passport size photo attached hard copy of Hall ticket and Application form of L&T ECC. Training and Placement Officer will sign on your photograph and then only you will be allowed to enter the written test.

# Those who are eligible, check your mailbox (which you have given in data)

# If you haven't received mail, need to call us on or before 3 pm today.

# In percentage of 1st to 4th year , you need to take the average of 2 respective    
   semester, convert it into % .[Formula : (CPI-0.5)*10] and make it round-figure.

# e.g. 1st sem = 7.9,  2nd sem = 8.76
          Average = 8.33,  so, Percentage = 78.3
          So, write 78 out of 100.

ABOUT SEARCE

SEARCE is going to visit our campus on 24th September,2013. But, we are sorry to inform you that company requires only CP, IT people. So, we are not going to appear in that company.

Written Test of L&T ECC

For the matter of written test of L&T ECC, they will take online test at our campus. And the test will include APTITUDE questions.
The information is given by company & can be changed on last minute by company.

TIMING FOR TCS ON FRIDAY

This is to bring to your notice that the aptitude test timing for TCS is as given below.

SLOT - 1,  Reporting Time : 08:00 AM,  Venue : BVM Auditorium

Please be on time sharply for the reporting. Your test time will be 90 minutes, including 30 Aptitude questions.  
And have your CT reference nuber & password of that for any requirements on spot.

L&T ECC FINAL Eligible Students list

We are heartily sorry for those who are not in this list because of physical criterias.

Note:- For those who are eligible, You will be responsible for any kind of action taken by company and T&P Cell against you IF you have provided wrong physical information.

1. The company will not allow you to join.
2. You will not be eligible for any upcoming company.

URGENT FOR TCS STUDENTS

Please pay attention who are going to appear for TCS campus, you have to log in on NextStep and at the tab for downloading the filled application form, you have to click  APPLY FOR DRIVE option. It's compulsory to do in next 24 hours for all that students mentioned in the list for TCS , strictly if you are not going to do this, you won't be allowed to seat in TCS and next three companies visiting our campus as per the rule of T&P Cell.

L&T ECC AT OUR CAMPUS

Greetings..

We are glad to announce that L&T ECC is coming for recruitment in our college on 26th Sept,2013.
Criteria for this is top 15 from electrical department (*still need to clarify with the company whether they will allow backlogs or not).
Here is the list of eligible students (considering that they will allow backlog) , this list might change due to backlogs.

Please note that we were having a tie at the 15th position with same CPI. So we had to consider both names.

Senior Talk on Saturday (Sep. 14,2013)

Hi guys,

As ABB is planning to visit our campus in near future, we would like to have a senior talk from someone who have worked for ABB. So, Mr Chirayu Pancholi , a 2007 passed out BVMite will come to us and deliver a Senior Talk along with his wife Ms Anaouli Pancholi , a HR professional.

Mr Chirayu got placed in ABB and worked with ABB for four years till 2011, currently working with SIEMENS. So, we would get a touch for both the companies. And the HR session will be accompanied by his wife , being from HR background. So, it is going to be even bigger & better this time, having individual expert for both the sessions. So, be at audi @ 03:00 pm on Saturday to groom yourself.

Senior will be Mr. Nirav Belani. He graduated with B.E. in Electrical Engg. from BVM in 2007.
He was placed in Infosys in campus. Right now he is working as a Technical Project Lead in eCommera and a member of Recruitment Team of eCommera.
So, he belongs to IT companies, being a Electrical Engg. So, students can have the idea about the role of Electrical Engineer in a IT company, along with the HR related topics.

Result of Aptitude Test held on September 04,2013

Dear Students,

The result of aptitude test is hereby declared and the selected students should be present at 08:00 AM tomorrow (5th Sept.)

         Due to the PDP classes from  10 to 1 pm tomorrow, we can not take the aptitude test at 11 am. So it has been rescheduled to 9 am tomorrow (4th Sept.). GD of sort listed students will be conducted as per our schedule only i.e. 8 am to 10 am on Thursday (5th Sept.).

PLACEMENT TALK ON 2ND SEPT,2013
